This gallery displays selected parts of my own railway luggage labels collection.

The collection has been built up since 2000 and was prompted by the discovery of the remnants of an accumulation acquired from stations back during my 1950's and 60's spotting and photographic forays around the rail network. The catalyst was a large number of Caledonian labels from Perth and G&SWR labels from Ayr that were collected from tha labels racks at those stations back in 1959.

It soon became apparent that I would have to specialise purely for financial reasons and so the bug is limited to the railways listed in the box below . . . .
